This dark chocolate has a complex and persistent flavor with notes of currant, strawberry, blueberry, plum, mango and licorice.

Cocoa from Chuao-cocoa is considered by many to be the best in the world. It comes exclusively from the area around the village of Chuao near the Henry Pittier National Park in the Venezuelan state of Aragua. This cocoa is characterized by a high genetic purity of the bitter-free Criollo and a characteristic hint of acidity. This makes Chocolate fresh, fruity and exceptional. In 2021, Chuao cocoa was the first cocoa in the world to receive a certified designation of origin (D.O.C. - Denominacion Oficial Cacao de Chuao).
