The cocoa beans for these Organic Couverture come from Peru from Elmer Ayala Castillo, a cocoa farmer from the Alto Huayabamba valley in the Peruvian Amazon region. The area is located in the north of the country in the province of San Martin. Elmer is co-owner of the Choba Choba project. Further information can be found on our manufacturer page.
