70% RAW - dark chocolate with nibs

Raw, coarsely ground 70% dark chocolate with nibs. The cocoa beans were not roasted and were processed with unrefined cane sugar from the Farahetana plantation and nibs (pieces of cocoa beans) to make this Chocolate.

Raw means processed as little as possible, therefore no roasting of the cocoa beans. Nevertheless, temperatures higher than 50° C can occur naturally during fermentation. The Chocolate has fine, fruity and chocolaty notes and leaves slightly grainy traces on the tongue.

Chocolat Madagascar not only exports cocoa beans, but also produces Chocolate on the fourth largest island in the world in order to keep as much of the value chain in the country as possible.
