Single Origin Chocolate

This dark chocolate is made in Madagascar and has been enhanced with Combava and Fleur de Sel. Combava is a local citrus fruit reminiscent of lime. The combination with salt gives the Chocolate a fresh, summery touch. The cocoa for the Chocolate comes from the north of the country, the Sambirano Valley, where the producers cultivate several cocoa plantations.

The Raise Trade mark on the back of the bar stands for a product from the country of origin. This means that the majority of the value chain remains in the country and thus supports the locals, who thereby also learn to refine their product, the cocoa, themselves and not just to export the cocoa beans for little money. In addition, they are constantly learning and improving their craft, because on the one hand they grow excellent cocoa beans and on the other hand they produce award-winning Chocolate.
