A really good Chocolate only needs one ingredient: delicious cocoa beans. The cocoa beans in this case are raw and unroasted and come from the breathtaking rainforests of the Sambirano Valley in northwest Madagascar, directly from the manufacturer's own Domaine Mava plantations. The cocoa trees are cultivated there under ideal conditions, which gives them a unique aroma.

No sugar is added to the cocoa, which is conched in its natural state. The result is this fruity, creamy 100% bar.

Producing since 1940 Chocolat Madagascar finest Chocolate from local cocoa. They work "seed-to-tree-to-bar", i.e. they grow their own cocoa trees, harvest and process the cocoa themselves and are therefore in control of every step of chocolate production. This means that the entire value chain, from cocoa bean and processing to the finished packaging, remains in Madagascar. The beans, mostly Criollo and Trinitario, are selected, fermented and gently processed by hand. The company has been Organic-certified since 2013. Nothing superfluous finds its way into the chocolates. The cocoa grows in the Sambirano river valley and is processed quickly on site. You can taste the quality and freshness! Many of the chocolates from Chocolat Madagascar have been awarded prizes by Academy of Chocolate and International Chocolate Awards.
