But why is a product not available nowadays ?

Natural disasters, such as hurricanes, can destroy entire harvests in the producing countries; political situations in the countries of origin or in smaller supplier countries, where there is only one international airport, which loses the international export license. Or think of the Corona crisis, where many countries have completely stopped all production - not only of chocolate - and international air or sea traffic has come to a standstill.
