The cocoa beans for this chocolate come from Maranon in northern Peru. This is not only used for the chocolate, but also for the nibs. These cocoa bean pieces are placed in the peaty Islay whiskey and then mixed with the chocolate made from the same beans. This is how this Scottish whisky chocolate is made .
