This chocolate is made from Chuncho cocoa beans from the Regin Cusco near Machu Picchu. Chuncho is one of the oldest and most aromatic cocoa varieties in the world. It is very fruity and is reminiscent of citrus fruit, raisins and hazelnut. It grows in the remote valleys of southern Peru in the mountains at an altitude of 3,500 m in very inaccessible areas.
