This Chocolate has been refined with Brugal rum. Let this bar melt slowly on your tongue and enjoy the taste of the rum.

Brugal is an absolutely unique rum from the Dominican Republic, named after its visionary founder "Don Andrés Brugal Montaner". The recipe was developed by Don Andrés back in 1888. Since then, it has been developed and refined by the Brugal family with much love and dedication.

The cocoa for this Chocolate comes from Finca Elvesia, a 19th century plantation in the north-east of the Dominican Republic. The plantation was founded in the 19th century and was the largest cocoa plantation in the Caribbean at the time. It even had its own railroad system to transport the cocoa to the port.
