Dark Chocolate from Honduras - Single Origin

Dark chocolate with 72% cocoa content. Single origin chocolate , fair trade and organic. The Criollo Xoco beans are limited edition chocolates "of certain origin" from Honduras. Duffy rarely has these beans in stock - in some years only 25kg per year. A complex chocolate. These rare and fine beans are bought directly from the farmers before they are gently roasted and stone ground to bring out the complexity inside.

The chocolate has already received several awards. At the International Chocolate Awards 2018 Europe , the bar was awarded silver in the Micro Batch Plain Origin dark chocolate bars category.

Red Star Chocolate is what Duffy Sheardown calls its company. Before he discovered his passion for chocolate, he built Formula 1 racing cars. Today he is completely committed to chocolate. His passion goes so far that he makes chocolate from the cocoa bean (bean to bar). In addition, he trades the cocoa beans directly (direct trade).

All ingredients are sustainably grown and handcrafted in Lincolnshire. The chocolate is soy -free and gluten-free.
The aromas in the chocolate range from red currants, orange and raisins to an aftertaste of coffee.

The chocolate Duffy's Chocolate 72% Honduras Indio Rojo is a vegan chocolate.
