Fjåk 68% Mork India is a fantastically balanced and exciting Norwegian chocolate with a rich flavour and a nutty touch. Plus the crunchy Cocoa nibs from the same cacao.

The cacao beans come from the green hills of the Idukki region in India. This chocolate is made from cocoa beans from the Indian Goground collective in Udumbannoor, where has set up its own fermentation and drying centre with the support of the Italian foundation RIVA. This is to promote and support the rural communities of the Idukki Kerala region. The collective is run by husband and wife Ellen and Luca.

The chocolate (excluding the cocoa nibs) won many awards including a silver medal in the Bean-To-Bar microbatch-produced category at International Chocolate Awards 2018 dark chocolate, 1 Gold Star at the Great Taste Awards 2019 and received Gold at the Academy of Chocolate Awards 2020.

Fjak was founded in 2017 in Eidfjord in Hardanger by ladies Agur Concellon and Siv Hereid, who wanted to use their passion for chocolate to create a Norwegian version of the international movement for quality chocolate. Fjåk Sjokolade is one of the first Norwegian chocolate makers to produce artisan chocolate (Craft Chocoolate) from scratch, starting with cocoa beans from specially selected origins. All Fjak single-origin bars are made only from cocoa beans, sugar and cocoa butter and are free from soy, lecithin, dairy, eggs and gluten. No vanilla added.
