Risotto allo zafferano - Risotto with saffron

High-quality Arborio rice is refined with pure saffron and gives this risotto its golden yellow color and distinctive aroma. Serve risotto as a main course or as a complex side dish with fish or poultry and delight your guests with this extraordinary treat!

Preparation

In a pan, heat onions, salt and pepper in extra virgin olive oil, then add the risotto and sauté briefly. Add 850ml of warm water and during the cooking time add some additional vegetable broth. Cooking time: 15-20 minutes. Afterwards let it rest briefly and then add butter & parmesan to taste.
