Candied, juicy orange peel from the garden of Kolymbethra in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento in the south of Italy. Packed in a pretty stand-up pouch.

The garden of Kolymbethra was restored in 1999 by the FAI (Fondo Ambiente per l'Ialia) and returned to its original state. The garden's great biodiversity is so important that it is officially open to visitors. Different varieties of oranges grow in the garden. Some are called "ncannalatri" or "thief-deceivers". Their irregular, sometimes ugly shape even deters thieves. The aroma, however, is unique and intense.

In combination with dark Chocolate, a real treat.

The Lavoratti company is located on the Italian Riviera between Nice and Genoa. The cocoa beans come from the Hacienda San José in Ecuador and are processed exclusively in Varazze.
