Idukki India 71% - dark Bean-To-Bar chocolate

The cocoa beans come from the green hills of the Idukki region in Kerala on the southwestern tip of India. This chocolate is made from cocoa beans from the Indian Goground collective in Udumbannoor, where has set up its own fermentation and drying center with the support of the Italian foundation RIVA. This is to promote and support the rural communities of the Idukki Kerala region. The collective is run by husband and wife team Ellen and Luca.

She produces all bars in her small manufactory in Wedemark from the bean to the bar with much love and craftsmanship. For your high pleasure, there are two thin bars in each package that melt ZART on your palate. The packaging is plastic-free.
