This bean-to-bar chocolate from the Amazon region in northeastern Peru is grown under fair conditions in Baugua approx. 450 m above sea level. The area is a natural forest with a tropical climate, perfect for growing cocoa. The cocoa variety belongs to the Criollo cocoa group and is fermented in wooden boxes for about 6 days and then dried in the sun.

The chocolate has aromas of: citrus fruits, nuts and dark red fruit notes.
