Venchi chocolates contains almost 140 years of experience. It all began in 1878 with a pastry shop in Turin, which was founded by a young man of 20 years old named Silvano Venchi. Today Venchi's product range includes over 350 items , from the small Cubotto to deceptively real-looking chocolate cigars to numerous bars of chocolate.

The hazelnuts used for this whole milk bar are verifiably from Piedmont and are therefore allowed to carry the addition IGP, freely translated from Italian "Protected Geographical Indication". Piedmont is known for the quality of its hazelnuts. The winters in which the hazelnut bushes bloom are mild, the nature of the soil exactly as the bushes like it: moist and warm, but by no means acidic. Ideal conditions for an excellent taste and smell, a long shelf life and good peelability. The noble hazelnuts in milk chocolate are made into a bar when they are lightly roasted. Each bar has a hazelnut content of 30%. Each piece is a full delight of melt-in-the-mouth chocolate and mild hazelnuts.
