Arawaks 70% dark chocolate from Grenada

This Chocolate is characterized by its woody character, which is enhanced by cocoa and slightly fruity notes.

The island of Grenada is located in the Caribbean, where cocoa production was introduced in the 18th century by the British on the Caribbean islands of Trinidad, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Jamaica and Grenada.
In Grenada, a total of about 8,500 cocoa farmers with about 2,360 hectares of land live from the cocoa harvest. However, the beans of this bar are grown by small farmers in the north of Grenada, in the district of St. Andrew. The fresh beans are then picked up by the Grenada Cocoa Association for centralized controlled fermentation and drying, including quality control and export.
