Oaxacan Sampler - Chocolate Mexicano

At Taza Chocolate , the organic cocoa is ground on original Mexican granite stone mills instead of in the conche. The stone is of course coarse-pored, which means that the cocoa is not ground very finely. In this way, cocoa was made before over thousend Years in Mexico processed and cooked with it. The chocolate has thereby on the tongue a "sandy" feeling, which makes the flavors appear more original and natural. The best thing to do is to try a chocolate like this.

The cocoa from the Dominican Republic will only be alone ground on the stone mills and then again with the cane sugar and the other ingredients. This is how the chocolate gets its texture and unique Taste.  

The sample pack contains the different flavors:

• Cinnamon (cinnamon) 50% dark
• Guajillo chilli 50% dark
• Vanilla 50% dark
• Cacao Puro 70% dark

The Oaxacan package pays homage to the part of Mexico where the Taza founder, Alex Whitmore, got to know and love this way of preparing chocolate. Cinnamon and chilli in particular are traditionally used in chocolate and drinking chocolate.

You can also prepare the chocolate as classic Mexican drinking chocolate !

The chocolate is certified organic , traded directly , has no genetically modified ingredients, is gluten-free , lactose-free , soy-free , vegan and pareve (kosher) excellent.
