Fettucine made from durum wheat semolina with wine. The pasta is made directly in Umbria using the traditional "al Bronzo" bronze process. In this process, the dough is pressed through bronze molds, which makes the surface rougher, allowing even more sauce to adhere to the pasta. In addition, more pressure is exerted during the process so that the pasta is denser and can be cooked perfectly "al dente". They taste wonderful and go well with all kinds of stronger sauces, dark meat, game or braised ragout. They get their red color from red wine and the addition of beet. A high-quality durum wheat mixture ensures a particularly firm bite and a rounded taste.

Italian cuisine is known for its innovations, and an outstanding example of this is the idea of cooking pasta in red wine rather than water. Believed to have originated in Florence, this method not only gives the pasta an attractive color, but also a unique taste. The dish, known as pasta all'Ubriaco or drunken pasta, is perfect for special occasions such as Valentine's Day dinners. Despite the wine used, the dish remains moderate in alcohol content as about half of the alcohol evaporates after the cooking time. Nevertheless, it is not for children because of the remaining alcohol content. A large portion of a bottle of wine is used for two servings, but don't worry, you won't end up drunk. This unique recipe brings variety to the kitchen and is definitely a conversation starter.
