Petits Grecs from Thessaloniki produces this loukoumi with almonds and natural rose flavor. The famous oriental confectionery is known for its unique texture, soft and melting ZART. This variant is dedicated to the traditional artisan producers from Serres, one of the cities known for the production of Greek Delight (and it resembles Turkish Delight).

Originally, lokum was made in Iran and Turkey, but it is impossible to say for sure. It is made with various nuts and fruits and is typically served with a cup of coffee. Lokum is a dessert at all traditional celebrations. The recipes are similar and lokum can be found throughout the Arab Mediterranean region.
