Venezuela Espelette 70% Chocolate with Chili

Dark chocolate with wine

The layered chocolate from Venezuela is a blend of Trinitario and Criollo. The dark chocolate was refined with Espelette chilli from the French Pyrenees. Espelette is famous for its cultivation of spiced paprika and has inherited its name from the local variant of the fruit: Piment d`Espelette or Espelette pepper.

The chocolate with 70% cocoa content goes well with strong red wines such as Cabernet, Merlo, Syrah, Dornfelder, Zweigelt, Lagrein or Blaufränkisch Lemberger, also from the wooden barrel.
