Yuzu-Shichimi dark chocolate with spices

Yuzu-Shichimi means: "Spice mixture consisting of seven spices including Yuzu, the Japanese citrus fruit". This spice mixture is very common in Japanese cuisine and recently some Japanese chocolatiers have also been using it. The two spices that can be tasted most strongly are Chilli and Yuzu , which give the chocolate spiciness and acidity. Since the piece of chocolate can be slightly spicy depending on the sprinkling, it is recommended to enjoy it with the spice side up on the tongue. For the perfect interaction, it is expressly allowed with this bar to chew the chocolate after a while. This makes the fruit notes and acidity of the yuzu even more noticeable.
